New Line's upcoming teen comedy 17 starring Zac Efron has just picked up a comedy legend. That's right, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Friends's superstar Matthew Perry will be playing the adult version of Efron's character in the film.

This Burr Steers project finds a middle-aged father waking up to discover that he is 17 again. To insure that he stays in touch with his children, he enrolls in their high school. No word on whether George Burns' bones would be mnaking an apperance (he's probably still too busy trying to get that duet with Willie Nelson).
