Max Borenstein has been hired by New Regency to draft an upcoming adaptation of Dan Sehlberg's warfare novel Mona.

The novel centers on a terrorist, who develops a computer virus that infects humans. Meanwhile, a Swedish scientist invents a device that gives disabled people the ability to use their minds to navigate the internet and battle the terrorist.

Michael London, Janice Williams and Niclas Salomonnson are producing. No word as to who will be directing.

Max Borenstein is currently working on Disney's sci-fi project Paladin and will write a reboot of Godzilla with Frank Darabont.
