Writer Max Landis and Homeland's Howard Gordon are teaming up to pen a new superhero series at Fox titled Vigilant.

The show will center a young female social outcast, who takes the law into her own hands after her father is brutally persuaded to take a job under a corrupt head of Internal affairs.

The scribe expressed his excitement for the announcement to his followers on Twitter earlier today.

The writer is best known for his work on Josh Trank's Chronicle. He will be producing the project with Teakwood's Hugh Fitzpatrick.
