Warner Bros. has released the first international trailer for Max, which gives new meaning to the phrase "man's best friend." Max is a coming-of-age story about a young teen from a family dealing with loss, who finds friendship, comfort and adventure with the heroic military dog of his fallen brother, a United States Marine who served his country on the frontlines of the war in Afghanistan. In addition, we also have the first poster, which showcases this heroic title character.

Lauren Graham and Thomas Haden Church star as the parents of both their fallen Marine son (Robbie Amell) and his 14-year-old brother Justin (Josh Wiggins). Justin learns that the military dog Max formed such a strong bond with his brother, that no one else can work with Max, who we learn is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, just like any other human soldier. When a shady soldier comes into town, Justin and Max must team up to thwart his plans.

Jay Hernandez, Luke Kleintank, Joseph Julian Soria, Gabriel Rush and Owen Harn co-star in director Boaz Yakin's upcoming dram, which hits theaters on June 26. Take a look at the latest footage, and stay tuned for more on Max. Does this trailer pull at your heartstrings enough to get you to see this in theaters?
