Maya Hawke and Camila Mendes are out for justice in the latest Netflix trailer for Do Revenge. Hawke will get back at Camila's ex-boyfriend, while Mendes works to set things right with a girl who wronged Hawke's character. The pair will take down their fellow high-schoolers who tried to ruin their life, and the revenge will be so sweet. Do Revenge releases on Netflix later next month, Sept 16.

The duo will seek retribution throughout the trailer after Drea (Mendes) thought she had a perfect life. Instead, her world comes crashing down after the love of her life, Max (Austin Abrams), shares their sex tape online, dropping her status from the top of the high school popularity hierarchy. Next, she meets Eleanor (Hawke), who recently had a nasty rumor spread about her through the school from a girl named Carissa (Ava Capri). From there, Drea and Eleanor vow to exact revenge on the others' enemy, bringing down Max and Carissa.

'Max ruined my life. He'll never get away with this.' The story seems like your average revenge story, which Netflix isn't shying away from. However, expect the movie to bring out some creative tactics in their scheme to get vindication, as this won't be a John Wick-style payback story. The narrative will involve some social politics today, especially in a high school, with Max creating The Cis Hetero Men Championing Female Identifying Students League. His club will be explored further in the movie, but Drea and Eleanor have plans to expose her ex for being a 'fake woke, misogynist hypocrite.' The trailer definitely includes satire of today's world, and his over-the-top woke group is the perfect example.

Max and Eleanor should share a special bond when Do Revenge reaches the streaming service next month, so look out for the new Netflix comedy on Sept 16. Watch Maya Hawke and Camila Mendes seek vengeance in the new trailer for Do Revenge below.
