Universal Pictures' upcoming comedy The Nest is shaping up to be a Saturday Night Live reunion, with Maya Rudolph signing on to join her former SNL cast mates Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

The story, written by former Saturday Night Live writer Paula Pell, centers on two sisters (Tina Fey and Amy Poehler) who decide to throw one last massive party in their childhood home, before it is sold, which turns into a "cathartic experience" for the siblings and their friends. Maya Rudolph is playing a longtime childhood friend of the sisters, with James Brolin signing on earlier this week to play Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's father, and Ike Barinholtz starring as the male lead.
