Hercules actor Brett Goldstein recently revealed two unlikely ways his character Hercules could potentially beat Chris Hemsworth's Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Previously in last year's Thor: Love and Thunder, Marvel Studios surprised audiences with the introduction of Goldstein's Hercules. Goldstein appeared as the iconic figure in the movie's post-credits scene where he vowed to kill Hemsworth's Thor as a promise to his father Zeus (played by Russell Crowe).

The unexpected appearance of Goldstein means that an encounter between Hercules and Thor will likely happen in the future, which sparked a debate among fans about who would win the fight. Still, with Hercules having only a few seconds of screen time, the potential meeting of these two Marvel gods is all fans know so far about Hercules's future.

Recently during an interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Goldstein revealed the two unlikely ways his character Hercules could potentially beat the thunder god in the MCU. In anticipation of the two gods going head-to-head, the actor gave an unexpected response.

Initially, when asked if his character could beat Hemsworth's Thor, the Ted Lasso star offered a humorous reply and joked about how strong and powerful Hercules is. The new MCU actor noted that Thor has enormous muscles, looks like a god, and is incredibly charming. Though the actor seemed somewhat puzzled as to what advantages his character, Hercules, would have in a fight against his rival, Goldstein stated that the fact that he has more body hair and is better at cursing could potentially help him defeat Thor.

Goldstein stated, "He's a big boy isn't he, with all humility, he's a big boy. But does he have massive muscles? Yes, he does. Wait, hang on a second. Does he have incredible unbelievable charisma? Yes. Does he have the ability to look like a god? Yes... Body hair. Maybe that's the way I beat Thor... Yeah, he's not a swearer. He wouldn't know what to do. It'd freak him out."

Still, while the pair's anticipated fight isn't likely going down to body hair or swearing, it's worth noting that in the comics, Hercules and Thor have similar powers. Both have super strength as their primary power, and Hercules is considered one of the strongest of the Olympian gods, who are equal in power to Asgardians. Hercules also has advanced regeneration abilities and is practically invulnerable. Of course, an official date for an epic clash between the pair remains to be determined.
