Media 8 Entertainment announced that it has acquired the rights to the documentary film God grew tired of us and will be introducing it to buyers for the first time at the upcoming Cannes market.

Narrated by Nicole Kidman, God grew tired of us is the winner of the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival, winner of Best Documentary at the 2006 Deauville Film Festival, and winner of the 2006 Emerging Documentary Filmmaker Award from the International Documentary Association. Directed by Christopher Dillon Quinn and co-directed by Tommy Walker, the film explores the indomitable spirit of three "Lost Boys" from Sudan who leave their homeland, triumph over seemingly insurmountable adversities and move to America, where they build active and fulfilling new lives but remain deeply committed to helping the friends and family they have left behind.

God grew tired of us, a National Geographic Films/LBS Production, is produced by Molly Bradford Pace, Christopher Dillon Quinn, Tommy Walker and executive produced by Brad Pitt, Peter Gilbert, Steven Rosenbaum, and Jack Schneider.
