The Expendables 3 is getting a younger, fresher upgrade with a team of new recruits that include Kellan Lutz, Ronda Rousey, Victor Ortiz and Glen Powell. All of them are introduced in a new TV spot that allows these soldiers to quickly show off their unique fighting skills. Don't worry, the old gang is back as well, and will eventually have to save these freshman freedom fighters after bad guy Mel Gibson takes them hostage. The mercenary group, the Expendables, led by Barney Ross, come face to face with the team's co-founder Conrad Stonebanks. Ross was forced to kill Stonebanks after he became a ruthless arms trader, but Stonebanks survived and has now made it his mission to destroy the Expendables. Ross resorts to recruiting a new and younger generation of Expendables to help the team overcome his old adversary.
