Five new character posters for Disney's Sleeping Beauty adaptation Maleficent have surfaced. These latest one-sheets feature Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning), Diaval (Sam Riley), King Stefan (Sharlto Copley), the Pixies and Maleficent (Angelina Jolie). Take a look.

Princess Aurora: A thoughtful and kind princess, who develops a bond with the native creatures of the forest kingdom unaware that she is the target for Maleficent's plans.

Diaval: A shapeshifter and Maleficent's confidant, who constantly shows that he's not afraid to speak his mind.

Stefan: Maleficent's former childhood friend and Aurora's father, who will stop at nothing to protect his child.

Knotgrass, Flittle and Thistlewit: The pixies, who are charged with raising Aurora in secret until her sixteenth birthday.

Maleficent: A vindictive fairy, who rises to become the self-proclaimed "Mistress of All Evil".

Maleficent explores the untold story of Disney's most iconic villain from the classic "Sleeping Beauty and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone. Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king's newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.
