Megan Fox seems to be angling to set herself up as the Geek Queen of Hollywood, moving from staring roles in Transformers and Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen to two other comic adaptations - Warner Brother's Jonah Hex and Fox Atomic's Fathom. The Hollywood Reporter announced that Fox is starring and helping to develop Fathom, and is in the final stage of negotiations for Jonah Hex.

In Jonah Hex, Fox will take the role of Leila, a gun-wielding female bounty hunter and love interest to Jonah Hex (Josh Brolin). She will join Hex as they track down a voodoo practitioner (John Malkovich), who is trying to raise an army of zombies to liberate the South.

For Fathom, Fox will take the role of Aspen, the main character from the comic created by the recently deceased Michael Turner. In the comic and film, Aspen discovers that her affinity for water is due to her status as a member of a race of aquatic humanoids who have the ability to control water.

While the release of these two films is still a ways off, fans of Ms. Fox can see her this year in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, opening June 24, 2009 and in the Diablo Cody-directed Jennifer's Body, which opens September 18, 2009.
