Mekhi Phifer is set to both produce and star in the adaptation of James L. White's graphic novel Hunter's Moon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Phifer's Facilitator films will produce the film, while Phifer takes the lead.

Phifer will play a stockbroker who is forced to work for a group of criminals after his son is kidnapped during a weekend hunting trip in the woods.

White originally published Hunter's Moon as a five-part comic series and then released it in Spring of 2008 in graphic novel format.
