In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, a Mexican governor has said that Mel Gibson is going to "make a movie at a prison in the Gulf coast state of Veracruz next year."
The Governer of Veracruz, Fidel Herrera, has said that part of the Ignacio Allende prison is going to be emptied in January "because a grand production will be filmed there with our friend, the actor and producer Mel Gibson."
Gibson did visit the prison in April 2008.
Herrera offered up no details about the film. Gibson's current publicist, Alan Nierob, was not available for comment.
