This Independence Day weekend, moviegoers will get to see Melissa McCarthy declare her independence from her crumbling life in Tammy. Written by Melissa McCarthy and director Ben Falcone, the new comedy centers on the title character (Melissa McCarthy), who loses her car, job and husband all in one day. She sets off on a road trip with her hard-drinking grandmother (Susan Sarandon) to see Niagara Falls, which could be just the journey she needs. Warner Bros. has released three new posters for Tammy, featuring Melissa McCarthy outside of her old fast food job, trying to drive in her beat-up old car, and taking to the sea on a jet ski.
