Taika Waititi is creating hype for Men In Black: International on social media. The director shared a video interview with Chris Hemsworth and called the sequel Thor 4, which more than likely already has Marvel Cinematic Universe fans bugging out at the thought of a possible sequel for The God of Thunder. Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth star in the latest offering from the Men in Black franchise and they also star in Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Endgame.

In a recent interview, Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are playing a guessing game. Hemsworth starts mimicking a pirate and Thompson believes he is doing a Taika Waititi impression. This is the video that Waititi shared as he jokingly referred to Men in Black: International as Thor 4. Specifically, he said, "Looking forward to Thor 4 opening this weekend!" From the looks of things, the Men in Black sequel will take the number one spot at this weekend's box office, but it doesn't look like it's going to bring in the big bucks.

Thor 4 has been on the minds of a lot of MCU fans over the last several months. Chris Hemsworth was originally burnt out on playing the character, but working with Taika Waititi ended up bringing him back into the fold while also taking the character in new directions. The director and actor have reportedly discussed making another installment and Tessa Thompson fueled those rumors when she said Thor 4 was in the very early stages of development. Marvel Studios has yet to come out and officially confirm the rumors.

Along with Thor 4, fans are hoping that Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will show up in Guardians of the Galaxy 3. James Gunn will commence work on the third and final Guardians installment when he wraps up on The Suicide Squad and after the events of Avengers: Endgame, it looks like Thor might be a full member of the team now. Fat Thor was last seen politely arguing with Star-Lord on the Benatar and the comedic potential for a full movie is all there. Again, this has not been confirmed by Marvel Studios either.

With San Diego Comic-Con on the way and Disney's D23, there is anticipation for Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige to unveil the MCU Phase 4 plans. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will undoubtedly be revealed, but there is quite a wait ahead of fans for that one. The Black Widow movie, Doctor Strange 2, and The Eternals seem to be the most logical announcements, but there will ultimately be some surprises along the way. For now, fans who can't wait to see Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth reunite should go check out Men in Black: International in theaters this weekend, or as Taika Waititi calls it: Thor 4.
