Earlier this year, the world lost one of its most gifted comedic performers when Robin Williams passed away. Despite his untimely and unexpected death, the icon left behind several unreleased films, the first of which is the holiday themed comedy A Merry Friggin' Christmas. Entertainment Tonight has our first look at the trailer.

In A Merry Friggin' Christmas, Robin Williams stars opposite Joel McHale, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Clark Duke and Lauren Graham in what could become a new holiday tradition.

The story follows Boyd Mitchler (Joel McHale) and his wife Luann (Lauren Graham) as they spend a dreaded Chrismas with Boyd's father Mitch (Robin Williams) and his family of misfits. Upon realizing that he has left all of his son's gifts at home, Boyd hits the road with his father and younger brother in an attempt to make the 8-hour round trip before sunrise.

A Merry Friggin' Christmas marks the feature debut of British TV director Tristram Shapeero, and will hit the big screen this November. Check out the first footage:
