MGM has acquired Ben Wexler's comedy script, Bobism, centering on a shy collegian who discovers that life in 1,000 years will be based on his blog.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, this sale is Wexler's first venture into features after a decade of TV writing. Wexler spent four years working on CBS's Still Standing while in an overall deal at Fox and had been a writer on The King of Queens and Working.
