Looking for that right holiday DVD gift for under $900? Well, MGM has just the thing for you...

MGM Home Entertainment is kicking off it's sweeping celebration of United Artists' 90th anniversary in grand fashion. This 18-month extravaganza starts on December 11 when the studio is releasing the United Artists 90th Anniversary Prestige Collection Gift Set. This is a collection of 90 of UA's most celebrated films throughout the years, including the 8 pictures that won Best Picture for the studio: MartyThe Apartment, West Side Story, In The Heat Of The Night, Midnight Cowboy, Annie Hall, Rocky and Rain Man. The set comes in a Plexiglass case and is retailing for $869.98, which has to be one of the highest DVD collection prices of all time.

"We are very respectful of the United Artists tradition and look forward to continuing the studio's rich creative legacy," UA CEO Paula Wagner said. " 'Lions for Lambs' is the first in a wide range of films that will revitalize UA and enable the next generation of filmmakers to thrive and see their visions realized."

Other releases and events included in this celebration include a cross-promotional campaign with Panasonic including a nationwide sweepstakes, the re-release of films honored by the American Film Institute's 100 Years... 100 Films series and, in 2008, they will launch anniversary editions of In The Heat Of The Night, The Last Tango in Paris, Rain Man, La Cage aux Folles, Invasion of the Body Snatchers and The Thomas Crown Affair (1968)
