Michael Brandt and Derek Haas have been set to adapt the upcoming Richard Doetsch novel The Thirteenth Hour for New Line Cinema and producer Michael De Luca, according to Variety.

New Line acquired the book last fall. The story follows a man accused of murdering his wife who gets to go back in time -- in one-hour increments over 12 hours -- with the chance to stop his wife's killer.

Haas said the book "is a fast-paced thriller with a supernatural twist and characters who really pop."

The novel will be published by Atria.

No director has been attached and no production date has been set.
