Michael Peña is in talks to reunite with End of Watch director David Ayer for the World War II action-thriller Fury.

Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, and Logan Lerman are attached to star as members of a five-man U.S. tank crew, who battle a desperate unit of Nazi soldiers towards the end of World War II. If a deal is finalized, Michael Peña will play Wardaddy, the tank's driver and a brutal alcoholic who has vowed never to go into combat sober.

David Ayer is directing from his own screenplay, with QED International's Bill Block producing alongside John Lesher and Ethan Smith. Production is scheduled to begin sometime this fall.

Michael Peña recently starred in Gangster Squad, and will lend his voice to the DreamWorks Animation comedy Turbo this summer. He also stars in American Hustle, which is currently shooting in Boston under the direction of David O. Russell.
