It seems that a former NFL star-turned-convict is looking to add reality series star to his resume. According to The Hollywood Reporter, former NFL quarterback Michael Vick is looking to do a reality show that will follow his path to redemption after his release from jail.

It was said that the show would follow Vick starting on July 20, when he is scheduled to be released from prison, where he is serving a 23-month sentence on dogfighting conspiracy charges. It was said that producers have been meeting with Vick and, while his attorney wouldn't comment, Vick told a judge at a bankruptcy hearing last month that he has agreed to a "television documentary deal" that would supposedly pay Vick $600,000.

It was also said, though, that Vick is really seeking much more, as he owes millions of dollars to creditors. Industry insiders claim that the A&E and Spike networks would be likely networks for such a series to air.

"It sure won't be Animal Planet," said multiple trade sources.
