The Forgotten co-star Michelle Borth and Jonathan Scarfe have taken leading roles in ABC's drama pilot The Matadors, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Plus, Amy Smart has been tapped to star on CBS' untitled medical drama executive produced by John Wells, Beau Garrett will play the female lead on CBS' Criminal Minds spinoff, Brian Dennehy is set to star opposite Dana Gould in Gould's untitled multicamera pilot for ABC and Australian actor Sullivan Stapleton has landed the lead in CBS' multicamera comedy pilot The Odds.

The Matadors is a Romeo-and-Juliet-style drama about two feuding families' battle against each other as one populates the state attorney's office and the other manages an influential private law firm.

Borth will play the heroine, Juliana, a talented lawyer who joins her father in the state attorney's office and embarks on a secret affair with Alex (Zach Gilford), an heir of the rival family who works at his father's firm.

For Borth, the casting is in second position to ABC's struggling freshman drama The Forgotten.

Scarfe will play Alex's brother, a skilled defense attorney who would rather win a case for a guilty client and collect his earnings than concern himself with serving justice.

CBS' untitled medical drama, from Warner Bros. TV, revolves around a mobile medical team that travels the U.S. helping those in need get through life-and-death medical crises

Smart will play a tough nurse who stands up to the doctors and sleeps with one of them.

The Criminal Minds spinoff revolves around a new group of profilers, led by Cooper (Forest Whitaker), who work outside the FBI bureaucracy.

Garrett will play Gina, a tough girl and recent recruit who is loyal to Cooper and the object of Mick's (Matt Ryan) flirting.

ABC's untitled Gould project, from WBTV, stars Gould as a high school guidance counselor and father to two young children who is caught between the old-school parenting beliefs of his father (Dennehy), a retired high school football coach, and his wife's progressive ideals.

The Odds is a buddy cop show set in Las Vegas, where the cops are as outrageous as the crimes they solve.

Stapleton will play Wade, the longtime head of the homicide division who is forced to take a demotion after an Internal Affairs investigation.
