Miley Cyrus is signed for her next project, an action comedy titled So Undercover, which will be directed by What Happens in Vegas's Tom Vaughan. Allan Loeb and Steven Pearl, the writers behind last summer's Jennifer Aniston comedy The Switch, have penned the screenplay, according to Deadline.

The story revolves around a young but tough FBI agent who is forced to go undercover in a college sorority. Media Group is producing with Nigel Sinclair and Guy East.

About getting Miley Cyrus for the lead, East stated, ""She has become a worldwide superstar in every field she has become involved in, from movies to fashion, to music and TV. Her show is not only the most successful cable TV series, it has been released in 150 countries and 26 languages. And her movies have grossed $630 million worldwide. She has become the biggest female brand in the world, and this has the potential to be a massive audience movie."

So Undercover begins filming this December.
