Production Weekly reports that actress Milla Jovovich and Angus Macfadden will topline the cast of the dark comedy, .45, an indie about a married couple involved in small-time crime in New York's Hell's Kitchen during the mid-1970s.

The script was penned by Gary Lennon who will make his directorial debut.

Macfadden will play Ed, a small time hood dealing guns and drugs ho has abused his girlfriend, Pat (Jovovich), one too many times. Now she's using her beauty to seduce his friends into framing him for murder.

Set to begin filming April 11th in Toronto, the film's cast also includes Andie MacDowell and Stephen Dorff.
