Just in time to liven up the dog days of summer, Mind of Mencia returns with eight new episodes and gives television audiences what they've been waiting for -- Carlos Mencia's unique point of view of the world! An all-new season of COMEDY CENTRAL'S hit series, Mind of Mencia premieres on Sunday, July 8 at 10:00 p.m.

Escape the heat by tuning into your favorite characters and skits from the Mind of Mencia such as Judge Carlos, Feature News, Stereotype Olympics, Beaners and Movies not to mention the Dee Dee Dee song. Mind of Mencia will also introduce some new friends into the fold with Carlos the Alien and Grand Theft D@#$%. Mencia presents his views with brutal honesty and unrelenting provocation through monologues, man-on-the-street interviews, commercial parodies and interaction with the studio audience.

Encore presentations of this season's Mind of Mencia will air Sundays at Midnight. comedycentral.com will feature weekly exclusive video content, including Mencia's rant segment, the "Mencia Minute." The "Ask Carlos" Q&A returns to the site where Carlos can answer questions from bloggers and the studio audience as presented by his brother Joseph.

The Blog will continue featuring daily insider show information including behind-the-scenes stories and segments about the show and specific episodes. The blog and site now highlight the submitted videos from the So You Think You Can Rant contest which ended in June. The winning rant will air in the July 8th episode of the show. Users will still be able to submit their own video rants online which may be shown on the site and the blog. The site will launch a new game titled Mencia Madness II in early July and new mobile ring tones will also be available. The "Mind of Mencia" sitelet will contain weekly video clips from the show, a photo gallery and episodic information.

Currently, Mencia stars opposite Ben Stiller and Michelle Monaghan in The Heartbreak Kid, a DreamWorks film directed by Peter and Bobby Farrelly, as Uncle Tito, the sarcastic and colorful manager of the hotel where Stiller's character stays on his honeymoon with the woman he hastily married (Malin Akerman), slated for release October 2007. Last summer, Mencia completed the highly successful "The Punisher Tour," a sold-out headlining stand-up tour of over 60 cities. The tour sold more than 270,000 tickets, making it the biggest tour of any Latino comedian to date.
