Actress Meagan Good has signed on to play the female lead in Fox's upcoming TV series Minority Report, joining a cast that includes Daniel London and Li Jun Li. The series is set 10 years after the original 2002 Minority Report movie, after the fall of Pre-Crime in Washington D.C. The story centers on one of the precogs named Dash, who has been struggling to lead a normal life, haunted by visions of the future.

Meagan Good is playing Lara Vega, a detective who is haunted by her own past and isn't afraid to break the rules. After she meets Dash, she gives him a new purpose as they team up to solve crimes using Dash's amazing ability to see into the future. Daniel London is reprising his role from director Steven Spielberg's original movie as Wally, who served as the precogs' caretaker, with Li Jun Li playing a CSI technician who works closely with Vega. Laura Regan also stars as another precog, Agatha, who was originally played by Samantha Morton in the movie. It isn't known if the third precog, Dash's twin brother Arthur, will be present in the series.

Max Borenstein (Godzilla, Seventh Son) wrote the pilot script, with Mark Mylod set to direct the first episode. Kevin Falls is serving as showrunner and executive producing alongside Steven Spielberg, Max Borenstein, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey. No production schedule was given for the pilot.
