Miramax Films has picked up the satirical comedy, Homeland Insecurity.

The film is from screenwriter Robert Siegel, the former editor in chief of The Onion. It will track the misadventures of two Arab-Americans who are mistaken for terrorists while on a business trip to Texas, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Siegel has also co-written the script for The Onion Movie for Regency Enterprises and release by Fox Searchlight. There is no production schedule yet for Homeland Insecurity.
