Miramax is developing the satirical comedy A.C.O.D. (Adult Children of Divorce) by The Daily Show head writer Ben Karlin and Stu Zicherman.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story centers on a grown man still caught in the crossfire of his parents' 15-year-old divorce.

Zicherman is slated to direct the film and produce it with Karlin and Bobby Cohen (Revolutionary Road).

In the tentatively titled A.C.O.D. which Miramax acquired on spec, the lead character discovers he was unknowingly part of a study on divorced children. He's enlisted in a follow-up years later that wreaks new havoc on his family.

No word on when production will begin.
