Actress Jacinda Barrett revealed on her official website that she was recently in Los Angeles auditioning for a role in Mission: Impossible 4.

It wasn't immediately clear what role she was trying out for at this time. We previously reported a few weeks ago that Ving Rhames would reprise his role of Luther Stickell from the first three films and we also reported in July that Simon Pegg might also reprise his role from Mission: Impossible III, Benji Dunn.

Tom Cruise is returning as Ethan Hunt and Brad Bird will direct the film from a script by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec. We'll be sure to keep you posted with any further details on Mission: Impossible 4 as soon as we have new information.
