Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team take on the anti-IMF operatives known as The Syndicate in an action-packed international trailer for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation. This footage gives us an extended look at Tom Cruise's death-defying plane stunt, and more insight into how The Syndicate operates, essentially setting them up for a big fall. If this trailer is any indication, Mission: Impossible 5 could surely be the most action-packed movie in the storied Mission Impossible franchise.

Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate - an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF. Along with the plane stunt, this footage also shows Tom Cruise performing an underwater stunt, which doesn't go well, leaving us on a cliffhanger. There is still very little we know about The Syndicate, and why they are trying to destroy the IMF, but the fate of their whole covert organization rests on Ethan and his team's shoulders.

The supporting cast is rounded out by Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol stars Jeremy Renner (Brandt), Simon Pegg (Benji Dunn) and Ving Rhames (Luther Stickell). The new additions include Rebecca Ferguson as Ethan's new ally Ilsa, Alec Baldwin as a bueareucrat trying to shut the IMF down, along with America Olivo, Sean Harris, Jingchu Zhang and Simon McBurney in unspecified roles. Check out the latest footage before director Christopher McQuarrie's death defying sequel hits theaters July 31.
