Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt in the teaser trailer for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation, which hits theaters July 31. This 64-second video is only the beginning, with the full trailer arriving tomorrow, March 23. The teaser features plenty of thrills, though, including our first look at Tom Cruise's death-defying plane stunt which we showed you back in November.
Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate - an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF. Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol stars Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames return alongside Tom Cruise for the latest installment in this action-packed franchise. New cast members include Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, America Olivo, Sean Harris, Jingchu Zhang and Simon McBurney. USA Today recently spoke with Tom Cruise, who spoke about how the amazing plane stunt came together.
"I've often sat on airplanes, looked out and thought, 'What it would be like out there on the wing?' This is the (stuff) I think about. That's me the whole time. I was standing right over the tires when we landed. It's nerve-racking for everyone else, but pretty exciting for me."
"We knew anything we did was going to be compared with the Burj. But it's not like you could wait for someone to build an even taller building. We keep pushing the envelope."
In addition to the trailer, we also have the first poster and new photos with Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner and Ving Rhames. Take a look at the trailer, poster and photos below before Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation hits theaters on July 31. Do you think this could be the best Mission: Impossible movie yet?
