The Strangers director Bryan Bertino returns with the thriller Mockingbird. Universal Pictures and Jason Blum's Blumhouse Productions have just released the first trailer for this unique take on the found footage genre.

The story follows three individuals who each receive an anonymous, unmarked video camera and a horrific ultimatum to continue filming...Or die. Experience the terror through the eyes of these unsuspecting victims, with a chain of found-footage events so real and absolutely dreadful, you'll have to watch it again to believe it.

Audrey Marie Anderson, Todd Stashwick, Alexandra Lydon and Barak Hardley star as these terrified victims who are forced to play a deadly game in this harrowing nightmare, which brings terror home to a normally peaceful suburban neighborhood.

As we can see from the trailer, a vindictive clown appears to be a part of this terrifying tale. What did these normal suburbanites do to deserve such a horrifying fate? Did they mock too many birthday party clowns in their day? Fortunately, you won't have to wait very long at all to find out, since Mockingbird is currently available on iTunes and other VOD formats.
