Back in March, just before Mortal Kombat X debuted, it was announced that the monstrous Predator from the 1987 action classic of the same name, will be available for fans to play in a download pack. Jason Voorhees and Tanya are two new downloadable characters that fans can already play. As fans get ready for the Predator pack, Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon has released new posters through his Twitter page, featuring the title creature himself along with original Predator character Dillon, portrayed by Carl Weathers in the first movie.

While fans will have to wait a few more weeks before the download packs are available in July, footage from the video game, which has since been removed, offers new details about the expansion. Each of these Predator characters have three different variations, which have their own unique designs, with one of the Predator's fighting without a mask. The Predator will also be able to hurl his discs at opponents, set off mines, use his wrist-blades, fire his shoulder cannon, and even initiate a self-destruct sequence, which destroys everything around the killing machine, except him.

One of the Predator's "fatality" moves has also been leaked, showing this creature lifting his victim up by the wrist blade, stabbed through the torso, while he stabs one of the discs into the victim's head, which detaches as the corpse falls to the ground. Even if a fatality isn't performed, the character automatically rips out the victim's spine, a move taken directly from the original movie. Along with Predator, there will be four new skins, using Carl Weathers' Dillon for Jax, an Infrared Scorpion, which uses the Predator's vision mode, commando for Johnny Cage, inspired by Arnold Schwarzenegger's Predator costume, and Scorpion's "klassic" skin. There is also a little nod to the original movie, where, if users play as Cage and Jax, Cage says, "You son of a b****," as they both lock arms, just after the stage is selected. Check out the posters and a photo of Dutch and Dillon locking arms in Mortal Kombat X.
