Summary

In the Sydney, Australia suburb of Centennial Park, two nurses, a housekeeper and a solicitor attend to the wealthy and beautiful Elizabeth Hunter (Charlotte Rampling). Her expatriate son (Academy Award winner Geoffrey Rush) and daughter (Academy Award nominee Judy Davis) return home to convene at their mother’s deathbed. But in dying, as in living, Mrs. Hunter remains a force to be reckoned with, full of wit and acidic bite...
