Eugene Smith novel of the same name, the 2020 drama Minamata chronicles the efforts of the latter renowned American photographer as he sets out to document the shocking effects of mercury poisoning in the coastal city of Minamata, Japan in 1971. In the gripping Minamata, Johnny Depp brilliantly portrays Smith, who is given a final assignment by Life Magazine to expose the horrors and gross negligence committed by the chemical company Chisso. The celebrated photojournalist makes it his mission to connect with the ravaged community and unmask their devastating reality for the world to see, going head-to-head with the powerful corporation at fault for the outbreak of the debilitating disease.

7 Independence Day

What better way to ring in the Fourth of July than by watching the Will Smith 1996 blockbuster extravaganza Independence Day, with the sci-fi flick centering on an unlikely group of people who join forces in the Nevada desert to fight back against ruthless aliens determined to invade and completely destroy Earth. Smith famously stars as Captain Steven Hiller, a Marine F/A-18 pilot who courageously battles to protect his family and humanity from the malevolent aliens, teaming up with characters like President Thomas J. Whitmore (Bill Pullman) and satellite engineer David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum) to combat the creatures.

Deutch and O’Brien previously showcased their undeniable chemistry in the 2022 crime drama The Outfit, and fans of the pair are buzzing about their on-screen reunion as romantic partners in the upcoming comedy.

5 The Bob’s Burgers Movie

As Bob and Linda struggle to pay their business loan, their children Tina, Gene and Louise make it their mission to solve the mystery of the sinkhole and save their parents from looming financial disaster.

Bob’s Burgers' creator Loren Bouchard assured viewers that the film would “scratch every itch that fans of the show have ever had,” while also attracting new audiences in the process. The highly-anticipated comedy has garnered glowing reviews from critics and fans alike, with many saying it masterfully retains the clever humor and heart of the original show. It will be on Hulu starting July 12th, and will also be on HBO Max.

Reilly and Sacha Baron Cohen teamed up in 2006 to star in an Adam McKay movie, the 2006 sports comedy Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, which follows the titular NASCAR superstar as his fame and fortune comes crashing down around him after French Formula One champion Jean Girard steals the spotlight from him.
