Something strange is going on Dark Knight fans. Something strange indeed.

A courier shows up a few minutes ago and hand delivers this big pink box. I ask, "who's this from?", in which the delivery boy, skipping away from the office, says "I don't know, I just deliver them."

So, I open this sucker up only to find a very mysterious cake inside, with a very cryptic message scribbled on top in frosting, "Call Me Now"...

So, first thing I do is call this phone number. Surprisingly, as the phone in my hand starts ringing, the cake starts ringing too! Obviously, I needed to dig into this thing...

Inside, I dug out an evidence bang which contained a slew of items...

The items contained within included the ringing cell phone, the cell phone's charger, a "Gotham Times" press badge, and the clincher, a Joker card, complete with yet another phone number smeared onto the back in fresh blood.

I call the number on the back of the card and I get a message from The Joker himself telling me that he has something to show me tomorrow night (Thursday) in downtown L.A. at some theater. The speculation is that they're going to be revealing the first 6 minutes of The Dark Knight just like they did on Monday for New York press. We'll let you know what happens when we go an meet up with The Joker tomorrow night.

In addition to all this Joker madness, the viral site, whysoserious.com/steprightup, was updated on December 3rd which played right into what's going above...

Why So Serious?

The site basically contained a small game which directed users to a particular place in various cities around the country. When each user got to any of the locations they had to give the name "Robin Banks" (Robbing Banks!), in which then they would receive the same cake gimmick we've got right here at MovieWeb. Like I said, probably for a chance to see the advance footage NYC got to see on Monday.

Nonetheless, some definite craziness coming out of the world of The Dark Knight!

We've been instructed by The Joker to leave this cell phone charged and plugged in. "Don't call me. I'll call you.", is what he states. Stay tuned to MovieWeb/Superheroflix for continuing updates directly from The Joker and The Dark Knight!
