A woman (Anna Kendrick) who can't find the right guy meets a unique hitman (Sam Rockwell) with a bizarre moral code in the first trailer for Mr. Right, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies. This new comedy from Focus World hits theaters on April 8, going up against Relativity's Before I Wake, Universal's The Boss and STX Entertainment's Hardcore Henry. As you can see in the trailer below, Mr. Right puts a new spin on the romantic comedy, through the eyes of an unorthodox couple.

Hyperactive at the best of times, Martha (Anna Kendrick) has gone full-on manic since her latest breakup. She babbles, parties like a monster, cooks everything in sight - and is looking to do something terrible when she meets Francis (Sam Rockwell). To anyone else, Francis's approach would come across as creepy, but Martha can't help but be intrigued. They seem a perfect match: she's bananas, he's bananas... except he's a deadly sort of bananas. He's a professional assassin.

Francis is a hitman with a cause: he unexpectedly kills the people ordering the hits. Just as Martha begins to realize her new beau wasn't joking when he said he had to step out for a moment to shoot someone, things start heating up for Francis. His services are solicited by a dubious client who's being sought by an equally dubious FBI agent (Tim Roth). As the bodies pile up, Martha needs to decide whether to flee or join in the mayhem.

The supporting cast includes Anson Mount, James Ransone, Katie Nehra, Michael Eklund, RZA and Elena Sanchez. Paco Cabezas (Rage) directs from a script by Max Landis (American Ultra). This action comedy will also be available on Digital HD and VOD formats on April 8, along with the theatrical release.

After Mr. Right hits theaters this April, Anna Kendrick will next be seen in Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates and The Accountant, while lending her voice to Trolls. Sam Rockwell most recently starred in Don Verdean, and he also lends his voice to the Netflix series F is For Family.
