A long-running staple at MTV will be coming to an end in the coming months. According to Variety, MTV's hit countdown program Total Request Live will begin its own countdown to an end date.

TRL executive producer Dave Sirulnick said that the program will end with a two-hour special on a Saturday afternoon this November, however, the show is not permanently over and it will just be on hiatus for the time-being.

Total Request Live started airing on MTV in 1998. It wasn't clear how long the show would be off the air after its November finale.
