Netflix has dropped a first look clip for the upcoming sequel Murder Mystery 2. The sequel brings back Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston from the first movie, as the couple must now get to the bottom of a new murder mystery at a friend's private island. In the new clip, Sandler and Aniston arrive as their characters, Nick and Audrey Spitz, and things get somewhat awkward during the introductions. You can watch the new clip below ahead of the movie's Netflix streaming debut on March 31.
In the first film, Sandler and Aniston's characters are caught up in a murder mystery while vacationing on board a billionaire's yacht. The two manage to get to the bottom of the mystery, and it seems they developed a taste for it, as both are now practicing detective work full time. But it's still when they're trying to enjoy a vacation when the biggest murder mysteries come along to solve, as will be the case in the sequel.
The official synopsis for Murder Mystery 2 is as follows:
Four years after solving their first murder mystery, Nick and Audrey Spitz (Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston) are now full-time detectives struggling to get their private eye agency off the ground when they’re invited to celebrate the wedding of their friend the Maharaja (Adeel Akhtar) on his private island. But trouble follows the Spitzes again when the groom is kidnapped for ransom soon after the festivities begin — making each glamorous guest, family member, and the bride herself a suspect. MURDER MYSTERY 2 sends Nick and Audrey Spitz on a high-stakes case that finally gives them everything they’ve ever dreamed of: a shot at their detective agency finally becoming successful…and their long-awaited trip to Paris.

Jeremy Garelick directs the film. It is produced by Sandler, Aniston, Tripp Vinson, James D. Stern, James Vanderbilt, A.J. Dix, and Allen Covert.
