The Museum of Television & Radio announced the launch of a new DVD series featuring some of the Museum's most popular, unique public events, where cast and creatives talk about the art and artistry behind excellent television. Kicking off this new series are Boston Legal, Desperate Housewives, and Lost, three events from the Museum's 2005 William S. Paley Television Festival, which annually honors current and past television shows and individuals with significant television work. All proceeds from the sale of these DVDs benefit the Museum.

Each DVD presents the cast and creators of the television shows as they share rare behind-the-scenes details. These events -- with the spirited discussions and banter presented in their entirety -- give the public an insider's look into these popular programs, as executive producers David E. Kelley, Marc Cherry, and J.J. Abrams offer insight into the creative process behind the camera. Today's popular actors also share anecdotes about on- and off-screen moments, and attending fans ask probing questions of the panelists. Each DVD also includes information about The Museum of Television & Radio.

Priced at $19.95 each, the three Museum DVDs are currently available online at www.mtr.org and at amazon.com. They will also be available at the Directors Guild of America for the duration of this year's Paley Festival (through March 15), and at the Museum's gift store in Los Angeles, and shortly in New York.
