The Weinstein Co. has picked up rights for My Idiot Brother at Sundance for a reported $6 million to $7 million and a $15 million P&A commitment for a wide theatrical release, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The deal marks the biggest pick-up of the festival so far and was sealed after an all-night bidding war that kept reps UTA and producer Peter Saraf up until the wee hours. Other buyers circling the project include Fox Searchlight, Relativity Media and Summit.

In My Idiot Brother, Paul Rudd plays an idealist dealing with his overbearing mother who crashes into the homes of his three ambitious sisters and, in succession, brings truth, happiness and a sunny disposition into their lives while also wreaking havoc.
