Screenwriter Jeremy Slater has found a home for his latest spec script entitled My Spy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film was a major contender and almost went to Paramount and DreamWorks, but instead wound up on the front stoop of CBS Films.

To be produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, the story follows the adventures of a teenage boy that falls for a hot young girl only to learn later that she is a spy. The film is said to be in the same vein as Judd Apatow's Pineapple Express.

The film does not have a set start date at this time.
