Stephen Colbert has gotten his wish, thanks to his fanbase. According to Variety, The Colbert Report host Stephen Colbert has won an online contest to name a room in an international space station after him.

The new room will simply be dubbed "Colbert" after he campaigned on his The Colbert Report show on Comedy Central for viewers to cast write-in votes for the room to be named after him. His viewers responded, to the tune of 230,539 votes cast, which beat out "Serenity," one of four NASA-suggested names, by a whopping 40,000 votes.

NASA did, however, reserve the right to choose the name itself and NASA spokesman John Yembrick said the space agency will decide in April. He did add that the top vote-getters will receive, "the most consideration."
