Natasha Henstridge has signed on to star in the Hallmark Channel original movie tentatively titled Family Gathering.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Harry Hamlin co-stars in the project, written by Kevin Commins and to be directed by John Bradshaw.
The film centers on Lisa Rayborn (Henstridge), who returns home to her family farm where she finds new purpose training a sheep dog, Lucky, who not only helps her family save the farm but also becomes a town hero.
Hamlin will play Lisa's brother, Jim, who helps manage the farm and partners with Lisa to train Lucky.
Filming is slated to begin this month in Canada for a 2010 premiere.
