According to The Hollywood Reporter, National Geographic will be staging their new reality series that is set in a Georgia prison.

The new show is called Hard Time and it is a six-hour series that looks at the inmates and correctional officers in the Georgia prison system.

To make this show the producers spent a year in the prison where they shot as much footage as possible. They even were around when two prisoners escaped. One of these prisoners is still at large.

In the show, one of the prisons showcased is the Hi-Max facility. This place has "the most extreme disciplinary environment allowed in the U.S." The place is run like a military compound. The goal is turn this convicted felons into soldiers.

Hard Time debuts at 9 p.m. on Feb. 23.
