Feature screenwriters Larry Malkin and Chad Thumann are teaming with director Peter Berg for the reverse-time thriller Deadline, according to Variety.

Berg, whose NBC drama Friday Night Lights this week, is onboard to executive produce Deadline. He's also loosely attached to direct, contingent on his schedule.

Malkin and Thumann will write and co-exec produce what will be their first TV project. Both wrote (and Malkin directed) Five Fingers, the upcoming Laurence Fishburne/Ryan Phillippe feature being released by Lionsgate.
