Paris Hilton is currently being wooed by NBC to appear on her own primetime special. According to Variety, Paris might be doing her first post-prison interview with the network.

As of late Thursday, the two parties could not come to an agreement, though they are still working on a deal. It was unclear whether the deal includes just a straightforward interview, or if it would be a full-blown investigative look at Hilton's time spent in jail.

An NBC Entertainment spokeswoman stated, "We have no agreement in place with Paris Hilton." The network was set to pay the Heiress $1 million just for an appearance on Today and an interview with Meredith Vieira.

NBC denied these reports, claiming that any money spent on an interview was for use of private photos and video. NBC News spokeswoman Allison Gollust stated, "NBC News has not and will not pay for interviews."
