According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC is shaking up its schedule again in March, moving veteran series Law & Order, The Apprentice and Las Vegas to new time slots. Those were just a few of the moves the peacock announced on the final day of the Television Critics Assn. winter press tour that will affect primetime heading into the fall, including early full-season renewals for My Name Is Earl and The Office. Both series will likely remain on Thursday in September, indicated NBC president of entertainment Kevin Reilly, who this month successfully transplanted them from Tuesday.
"We believe in these shows, and you have to admit, they kind of defied the odds," he said. As expected, NBC said The West Wing and Will & Grace are ending their runs this season, scheduling their finales for May 14 and May 18, respectively. Each finale will be preceded by hourlong retrospectives.
