It seems that the cast of Joe Johnston's upcoming superhero ensemble could grow by one more. Deadline New York is reporting that Neal McDonough is in talks for a role in Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger.

The site reports that that McDonough is in negotiations to portray Dum Dum Dugan in the film. McDonough would join a cast that already includes Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Hugo Weaving as the villain Red Skull along with Tommy Lee Jones, Sebastian Stan and Hayley Atwell.

Joe Johnston will be directing the film, which is gearing up to start shooting in July. We'll be sure to keep you posted on any further details on Captain America: The First Avenger as soon as we have more information.
