Drive fans rejoice! The first trailer for Nicolas Winding Refn's latest thriller has arrived from Amaon Studios. And it's a very dark acid trip that will leave you wanting more. The Neon Demon stars Elle Fanning and Keanu Reeves. And it delves into the dangerous side of modeling.

The Neon Demon will have its world premiere in the Official Competition of the 69th Cannes Film Festival. Amazon Studios will release the thriller in theaters June 2016. Written and Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, the movie is also headlined by Jena Malone, Christina Hendricks and Abbey Lee. Rounding out the young, beautiful cast is Bella Heathcote, Desmond Harrington and Karl Glusman.

When aspiring model Jesse moves to Los Angeles, her youth and vitality are devoured by a group of beauty-obsessed women. They will take any means necessary to get what she has. And it will all leave you asking, 'What is the Neon Demon?' Judging from the first trailer, the answer is not immediately apparent. Star Keanu Reeves, who plays Hank, gives this answer.

" There's something about the light - you can call it artificial light, but I guess all light is artificial besides the sun - and the neon quality of it. [There's] something about those colors that attracts and repulses at the same time. And then there's the demon part. What is the demon within; what is the demon on the outside? Is it ego? It may be a fear of death. Or desire. It's all sorts of fun stuff."

Cliff Martinez, who composed the music for The Neon Demon and is a frequent collaborator of Nicolas Winding Refn, calls the movie a cross between Valley of the Dolls and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It has also been compared to the horror classic Suspiria by famed Italian director Dario Argento. That's all apparent in this first look footage from The Neon Demon. And it might just all be a little too unsettling to watch. Equal parts scary, violent, and gory, this will definitely be one of the more unique and interesting film's released this summer.
